I’m your average New Yorker who uses running as a way to keep her sanity and to make myself feel like the me that I was when I was 12 years old. I fell in love with running during my high school years, doing track and cross-country (thanks to a coach who talked me out of fall soccer and onto his team). Through college and my early 20’s, I ran to keep in shape and not much else, after an injury a couple years ago and not being able to run, it made me miss it and realize that I took both running and what it did for me, for granted.
With a renewed love of the sport, and after stalking other bloggers, I decided to start a blog of my own, mainly to keep myself accountable and contribute to the wonderful running community, although I don’t usually have anything important to say.
